KARACHI: As many as 93 medical graduates were awarded degrees at the eighth convocation of the Liaquat National Medical College (LNMC) on Thursday.
The ceremony was held at the convention centre of the Liaquat National Hospital, where the graduating students were conferred degrees by Jinnah Sindh Medical University Vice Chancellor Dr Amjad Siraj Memon.
Dr Umaima Rafiq, Dr Jawairia Khan and Dr Sanam Mumtaz were awarded medals and cash prizes.
The event was attended by proud parents of the graduating students, faculty members and others.
Earlier, Liaquat National Medical College Principal Prof Dr K. U. Makki welcomed the guests and presented an overall view of the progress made by the college and future plans.
