News of the separation of Jordanian fashionista Zain Karazon and her fiancé Abdullah Kanaan went viral in the past hours, after they got engaged about a month ago.
The separation came after Jordanian security forces arrested Abdullah on charges of possessing drugs and accompanying a wanted person on the same charge, and although the arrest took place last week, it was revealed hours ago.
According to the statement issued, this is not the first time that Kanaan has been arrested on drugs possession charges; he has precedents and a record with the Jordanian security forces.
The moment Abdullah was arrested, his fiancée Zain and her family were at a farm for the weekend, and as soon as she heard the news, she returned home and kept away from social media for days withholding the truth by telling her followers that she is suffering from back pain.
After the arrest news broke, Zain immediately announced her separation via an Instagram Story yesterday.
The announcement of engagement was last June during the twin Zain and Haya’s 30th birthday party. Abdullah surprised Zain by proposing to her then.
